WHO ARE WE?
About GREEN MINE TECH
GREEN MINE TECH is a UK-based engineering and technology company specialising in critical minerals, mineral processing, extractive metallurgy and advanced materials. We combine industrial experience with applied research to develop processing routes, enhance plant performance and recover value from primary and secondary resources, in alignment with national critical minerals and Net Zero strategies.
We approach mineral opportunities as interconnected systems, considering geology and feed characteristics, separation chemistry, equipment, operational constraints and investment viability. This integrated perspective helps our partners identify practical development pathways, resolve technical uncertainties and determine where testing or investment can deliver the greatest value.
Our activities encompass specialist engineering, bespoke research and development (R&D), technical consultancy and technology development. We collaborate with resource owners, industrial companies and research organisations on projects ranging from resource evaluation and process design to pilot-scale validation, technology partnerships and industrial implementation.

Our Mission
To develop and implement practical solutions, from initial concept through to industrial deployment, for mineral processing, extractive metallurgy, critical minerals recovery and industrial wastewater treatment, integrating scientific research, engineering and project economics.
Our activities focus on polymetallic nodules, metal-bearing waters, mining and industrial effluents, complex ores, secondary resources, advanced materials and green hydrogen. We develop tailored processing routes based on feed characteristics, product specifications and operating conditions.
Our Vision
To become a trusted technology and engineering partner in critical minerals, advanced materials and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the mining industry, with a particular focus on critical minerals.
We aim to help industry transform complex resources into high-value products and strengthen supply chains through efficient processing and resource recovery, in alignment with national critical minerals strategies and Net Zero objectives.
Our Objectives
To develop and validate advanced technologies for the selective recovery and purification of critical minerals, including rare earth elements, lithium, nickel, cobalt and other strategic metals; identify untapped mineral recovery opportunities within existing operations; and optimise mining and mineral processing circuits to enhance recovery, product quality and resource efficiency.
To advance the circular economy through resource recovery, waste valorisation and the development of sustainable processing technologies, including mineral agglomeration, pelletising and the conversion of industrial by-products into value-added materials.
To develop advanced functional materials, nanomaterials and high-entropy alloys for industrial and energy storage applications; and innovative technologies for treating and reusing mine water, industrial effluents and metal- or dye-contaminated wastewater.
To integrate emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), robotics, automation, laser-based technologies and intelligent monitoring systems, into mining, mineral processing and metallurgical operations to improve efficiency, precision and sustainability.
To protect and commercialise intellectual property, accelerate industrial technology deployment through pilot-scale validation and strategic partnerships, and support the UK’s critical minerals strategy towards 2035, circular economy principles and Net Zero objectives.

INDUSTRIAL EXPERIENCE
Founder’s Industrial Track Record
Dr Heydartaemeh brings over 20 years of experience across the mining and minerals value chain, spanning mineral exploration, resource evaluation, independent technical review and validation of exploration reports, mine development, extraction, mineral processing and industrial production. His previous leadership and project management responsibilities have contributed to reported average organisational growth of approximately 15% and the creation of more than 1,500 employment opportunities through projects under his management.
His industrial portfolio covers numerous projects involving gold, copper, molybdenum, Antimony, chromite, manganese, magnesite, magnesia production, nickel and cobalt recovery, zirconium, rare earth elements (REEs), various iron ore deposits, coal, critical minerals, dimension stone and construction materials, including gypsum, sand and aggregates.
Among his major assignments was the technical evaluation of a mineral deposit containing several hundred million tonnes of resources, alongside leading responsibility for the process design of a complex iron ore concentrator designed to process approximately 8 million tonnes of feed and produce 2 million tonnes of concentrate annually. The project also involved studies on rare earth element recovery, major mining infrastructure, material handling and mineral processing systems.
His expertise further encompasses technology development, validation and scale-up, from early-stage concepts and laboratory testing through pilot-scale demonstration to industrial implementation, as well as ferroalloys, industrial minerals, adsorbents, catalysts and nanostructured coatings with enhanced wear and corrosion resistance.
This extensive background underpins GREEN MINE TECH's engineering approach, connecting resource characteristics and laboratory findings with plant requirements, operational performance and commercial decision-making.
These projects were undertaken as part of Dr Heydartaemeh's previous professional responsibilities. They represent the founder's industrial experience and are not presented as contracts awarded to GREEN MINE TECH LTD.
